Decreasing the need for glasses after cataract surgery
In the future, it will be possible to measure the power and shape of intraocular lenses more precisely by combining Cassini’s CLT technology with further innovations that measure the axial length, anterior chamber size and other parameters for IOL fitting.
In most cases today’s devices generate a post-op error of 0.5 diopters. Cassini’s innovations will reduce this to a negligible 0.2 diopters. Resulting in a smaller number of patients requiring glasses after the procedure.
